Children are a vital part of the life of God’s church and we want to help them in a variety of ways to learn more about Jesus.

Each Sunday from 10.15 am there is a Cche for children under 3 years old, which runs throughout the service.

After a time of all age worship in the church, the Sunday School’s older children go to the Main Hall until the end of the service, where they hear the stories of the Bible using material suitable for their age group. The children enjoy refreshments, games, singing and crafts. They are split by age for activities as well as to help the children get to know each other better.

During the summer, usually the week before the schools return, we have a week long Holiday Club, which is great fun for those who come along. All children are welcome from the new intake of Primary 1 up to Primary 7. We usually cater for 100 plus children. This club is organised and run by the various churches in Banchory.

Mid week activities for pre-school children include:

Tom Toms which meets on Monday mornings at 10.00 for an hour in the Main Hall. There is a time of singing and music, where the children and their carers learn the old nursery rhymes and songs, and musical instruments are shaken, rattled and rolled. Those who come along range in age from 1 week old to pre-school. Older children usually have a short time doing some of the more vigorous action songs. Afterwards, it’s snack time, playtime and chatting time.

Toddlers Group meets on Tuesday mornings at 10.00 in the Main Hall. This is an activity based group – play and crafts. This is a smaller group than the Tom Toms and is ideal if your child feels overwhelmed by the larger group. Once again there is a time for snacks and chatting.

Everyone who has the privilege of teaching our children is trained in child protection and are certified by Disclosure Scotland.

Come and join us.

A crèche is available in the Church Hall from 10.15 am. Sunday school also meets in the Hall at that time.

Church Service begins at 10.30 am.
Tea, coffee and juice are served at the front of Church after the morning service.

Congregational Prayer Meeting - Every Sunday 10 am, St Ternan Room. All Welcome.

Sunday Night Live is held in the East or West Church Hall at 6 pm each Sunday.

Each Thursday evening there is a worship vigil in the Church starting at 8.45 pm.

The Church is fitted with an induction loop system. If you use a hearing aid, please change it to the "T" setting.
