Choir

Banchory East Church is very proud of its choir and wishes to recruit more members, especially newcomers to Banchory.   

The choir normally meets for rehearsal on Thursday at 7.30 pm, and also for a 10-minute practice before morning worship at 10.10 am.


The Choir leads worship throughout the year and usually sings an anthem in the morning service.  The music is a mixture of traditional and contemporary church choir music with a mixture of unison and harmony material.  It is also a supportive and fun group to belong to.

We have places for any keen soprano, alto, tenor or bass.  New members are very welcome.   Anyone who is interested in joining the Choir should contact our Organist and Choir Director, Muriel Welch on 822571

A crèche is available in the Church Hall from 10.15 am. Sunday school also meets in the Hall at that time.

Church Service begins at 10.30 am. Tea, coffee and juice are served at the front of Church after the morning service.

Congregational Prayer Meeting - Every Sunday 10 am, St Ternan Room. All Welcome.

Each Thursday evening there is a worship vigil in the Church starting at 8.45 pm.

The Church is fitted with an induction loop system. If you use a hearing aid, please change it to the "T" setting.
